Proceedings of the 90th Anniversary Ceremony Armistice of November 11, 1918
To celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Armistice of November 11, 1918 , the Committee Cézy Remembrance French had proposed a program to the Municipality.
- 09 H 15 Mass of Remembrance
- 10 H 30 ceremony at the Cenotaph
- 11 H 00 Ceremony at Cemetery
- 12 H 12 Plantation Remembrance of a tree by the children of the school.
But the Mayor and his Council decided:
- 10 H 30 ceremony at the Cenotaph with the Music of St Julien du Sault.
Where is the Duty of Memory??
The ceremony is then held as follows, before a hundred people:
- 09 H 15 Mass of Remembrance (20 people, including a deputy ( over 15 advisers))
- 10 H 30 ceremony at the Cenotaph with the Music of St Julien du Sault
Reading speeches, letters of Hairy by children of the school.
Followed by a rousing Marseillaise sung by children from the school.
- After the filing of wreaths and candles 3 by 3 young children in the community on behalf of the French memory, a group led by the Municipality is made to the village hall for reception.
And another group led by the Chairman of Cézy the Committee members and School children accompanied their parents headed to the cemetery, where children have filed a Flame of Memory on the grave of the 25 that lie Cézy hairy.
We note that no member of the Municipality not visited Cemetery to pay tribute to these heroes of World War
